The Arquetopia Permanent Collection is aimed to contribute to the dialogue on contemporary art practices in Puebla and its impact on social issues, generating research and outreach programs through the works themselves and the artists who have created them.
Our collection is comprised of art works and documentation by important artists in the history of Mexico, including graphics and photography especially by artists of the first half of the twentieth century such as Angelina Beloff, Lola Alvarez Bravo, and Jose Guadalupe Posada. Prints, paintings, sculptures, photography, video, as well as documentation of work by contemporary national and international artists such as Nick Abdalla, Carlos Arias, Bethany Collins, Jose Chavez Huacuja, Edgar Endress, Bulmaro Escobar, Javier Gonzalez, Claude T. Ho, Francisco Guevara, Randa Mirza, Everardo Rivera, Raymundo Sesma, Steve Tierney, and others are also part of the collection.
The collection is on permanent display at the headquarters of Arquetopia. Arquetopia Foundation is committed to keeping the artwork available for loan to various institutions and to increasing its collection each year.
